Get to Know Us
Reading For Love is a reading program involving and initiated by Asian American and Chinese youth. Students from China and the United States read and share loving, uplifting stories, and distribute these recordings to children in low-income, rural areas in China. These student volunteers will also learn about the craft of writing and how to embrace reading projects that can change the hearts and minds of others.
Our goal is to help young people grow to understand the importance of serving others and how reading education can make a lasting impact on a person’s life. Building connections between students will empower everyone involved to continue sharing beautiful stories, and also figure out how to tell new ones.
